Superfoods are a myth... a term defined by marketers, but really has no legal definition. A funny thing happens when you search Google for the term "superfood" - the top results are things like "25 Greatest Superfoods" and "52 Best Superfoods". Read through these lists and you'll notice that these aren't really super... they're just actual foods. But compared to the partial foods we fill our diets with, they seem SUPER.
I'd love it if we could get back to a place where we aren't referring to something like a blueberry as a superfood, but simply a food. Think how healthy we would be if blueberries were just the average food we ate and not considered super when compared to the food we actually do eat. Lives would be changed!
